Mouth

In the stage production of "Little Shop of Horrors" it's tradition to have a backlit photo of a grotesque human mouth. When it went up on the west coast of Sweden 2007, I got the honor to make it.
By manipulating and stitching together different photos I managed to come up with some very pleasing results.

Result 1

Result 2

After a discussion with the director I made a more human like version which was the one ending up on stage.
The photo is not meant for display up close, the audience is 3 metres away, so every little detail does not need to be perfect.

The prop used in a rehearsal of the play.

Resource photos

First of all you need a monstrous mouth.

An ordinary mouth to place it in.

Some new crowns.

Teeth for the lower jaw.

One more crown.

And the bracers of course.
